The room was comfortable and we could
easily hear the ocean waves from our window. However, the bathroom felt outdated and could use some improvements. Overall, our stay was pleasant, and we loved the access to the resort facilities.

This is what you’re really getting
Don't expect luxury, but for a budget stay, this place covers the essentials. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. An unbeatable location by the ocean. Enjoy interactive games, free breakfast vouchers, and cozy fire pits at night. Some quirks like thin walls and dated furnishings, but the charm makes up for it!

The location is fantastic! We enjoyed easy access to the beach, fire pits for evening fun, and plenty of games for the kids. Plus, the sunset views were amazing, creating a perfect atmosphere for family relaxation.
My kids wished there were more dining options for a family-friendly breakfast. The limited choice made it tough with teenagers who never seem to eat enough.

After a long road trip, we faced confusion checking in next door. The queen room was spacious, but the dirty carpet and noise were off-putting. Breakfast options were minimal—just apples and muffins. Future guests should check in at Cavalier in advance and bring earplugs for a better night's sleep.

Had a great time staying with my friends! We visited Hearst Castle and enjoyed some time at the local museum, which showcased interesting artifacts. The beach access was fantastic, and the fire pits made for lovely evenings. The complimentary continental breakfast was simple but adequate for starting our day. I recommend it for a carefree getaway!
While the stay was enjoyable overall, the breakfast was somewhat limited. just toast and muffins didn’t quite hit the spot for us.

Rooms feature essential amenities like a big fridge and microwave, providing convenience . The hotel boasts fire pits by the beach, making for a pleasant spot to unwind after a long day.
The heater buzzed loudly during the night, disrupting sleep, and the shower head was at an awkward height, forcing an uncomfortable position. Cleanliness could improve as dust accumulated around the window and heater, and the touted continental breakfast was misleading. With toast and coffee falling short of expectations. Lastly, the limited use of breakfast vouchers felt cumbersome and unnecessary, detracting from the overall experience.

Helpful and polite staff made check-in easy.
Our room was uncomfortably warm without A/C or heat. The thin walls allowed us to hear our neighbors arguing late into the night, disrupting our sleep. The shower was cramped, and we felt exposed with the window facing a public walkway.

I stayed one night in a King Room. The room was clean and the bed super comfortable. I loved the proximity to the beach. it made for a nice evening stroll. The restaurant next door had excellent food, and the $5 meal voucher made dining affordable. However, the heater made a clicking noise, which disturbed my sleep. The sink plumbing was a bit noisy too, as I could hear it from the next room. Breakfast was minimal, just coffee or juice with toast, not enough variety. The check-in process at the neighboring hotel felt inconvenient. Parking was also limited. I had to park across the street at times. Despite these issues, I would consider staying again for the location and the comfortable accommodations.

The Queen room with two queen beds was pretty comfy. Beds were soft, and the bathroom was clean and a decent size. We really appreciated the ceiling fan and windows that opened, which is rare for motels. Unfortunately, our view was just the back of some building. Free breakfast was basic but nice to grab. Overall decent stay for the price!
